The Goal – “To Allow People with a Disability to lead an Ordinary Life”

Endeavour Foundation is the largest non-government disability service provider in Australia. Endeavour supports more than 3,400 people with a disability, from 230 locations in Queensland and New South Wales.

Endeavour is one of Queensland’s oldest charities, founded in 1951 by a group of mothers who wanted to educate their children with an intellectual disability. Read about Endeavour’s history.

Endeavour offer people with a disability a range of services including:

  • accommodation
  • aged support
  • children focused services
  • employment opportunities
  • education programs in literacy, technology and social skills
  • lifestyle opportunities

    • Endeavour does obtain some government funding but of the $130,000,000 needed to run the organisation each year only approximately 65% comes from the government. If you do the maths, Endeavour needs to raise serious dollars each year just to stay viable.     The Endeavour Foundation is something that Colin and Shane, and in fact all the new team members, are very passionate about. All have been supporting Endeavour in one way or another for a number of years. Once you see the work that Endeavour does - it’s mighty hard to stop helping.
