BEER & PRAWN NIGHT AT GOLD PARK
Well the "Great Beer and Prawn Night" was held again this year on the 21st of June. many many many many prawns were consumed and quite a few pots of MID as well. A great time was had by everyone .
The lucky door prize of a weekend for two to Duporth Riverside, Maroochydore was won by Kathy Lee. Runners up $100 Pandora Voucher went to Lyn Wilson
The Major prize of $1000 Pandora Voucher was won by Elaine Desbrow. As this is Col's mother, she decided to redraw and she drew out Alison Blackley who is Col Blackley daughter in law. After consultation we decided that each person would receive a $500 voucher and the crowd present all agreed this was a good result.
The night itself raised about $2000 and the raffle about $3750, so all up that is not a bad result.
The winners in a tie break (Scissors, Paper, Rock) of the Trivia were "Original Sinners" who beat the "Four Kings Men" from "Prawn Stars" in third. The crowd numbered about 80 and kicked on until midnight when the bar called it a night. All in all, a good result. |
