FUNDRAISING TALLY

CAR 81 FUNDRAISING FOR ENDEAVOUR TALLY $140,269

2009 Great Endeavour Rally - Mackay to Townsville via The Tip!

A big thank you to our sponsors and to all who supported the "Thank God You're Here Night". This year we beat our target and with your generosity we raised this year over $60,000.  This means that in 4 years of the "Red Bull" doing the rally we have raised over $130,000 for the Endeavour Foundation:

As an aside, it would be remiss of me not to mention Lionel Moore of Moore Trailers, Pittsworth.  Lionel had 4 cars entered this year and raised over $100,000 for Endeavour.  Lionel's car alone raised $65,000 for Endeavour.  In fact each of the top 12 or 13 cars raised over $20,000 for Endeavour - a fantastic effort.  This will be a record breaking year for the rally in terms of fundraising.

2008 - Super Endeavour Rally "Longreach to Baradine via Kalgoorlie"

After a long hard slog across Australia and back, the CAR 81 team of Col Desbrow & Col Blackley finished as the second highest Fundraises of the event with a total of $24,800.

This was helped along by the auction of the Beanie of Hope which attracted fierce competition between rival rally competitors with each jostling for auction honours to help the Endeavour Foundation. With neither backing down, teamwork and compromise prevailed with both teams throwing in $10,000 each, Car 81 and Car 606 are now joint owners. In the process setting a new record price of $20,000 was set ...more "Beanie of Hope sets new record for charity"

2007- Toowoomba to Kooralbyn via Birdsville! 2007

The first entrants to make it passed the finish line were Shane Charles (Endeavour Board Member) and Colin Desbrow from Toowoomba, in car number 81, 'Red Bull'.

While the team were not necessarily the rally winners, they were the highest fundraisers of the event, raising $40,334.

2006 - Rockhampton to Coolangatta via Karumba!
